This painting was made for a certain someone for Easter. I have to admit, this sign came out awesome! The photo however didn't really come out all that good..but I think its because of the odd size of it. This is an oil painting on antique barn wood. It was a pretty simple process creating this. I think the hardest part was getting the lettering and the herb jars even. I think I will offer original copies of this if anyone is interested. It wont be this particular on per say...but something of the same nature. If you're interested, shoot me over an email. Thanks everyone!

In the recent weeks Ive been on a huge primitive folk art kick. Also something which has been wanting to come out of me is my love for traditional tattoo designes. I really enjoyed painting this one, it was pretty easy but the meaning behind this painting is indeed to hard to explain. Ive been thinking long and hard for weeks to come up with an original idea and this painting was the first to spawn out. Its much different then what Ive been doing for the past year, however change is enevidable. So folk art tattoo designs created in a primitive way is whats on the menu for this year.
