This is painting was a blast, took about 3 hours to complete but worth every minute of it. The image started out as a simple sketch and the next day that sketch turned into this painting. Just like the painting I did the day before, I went towards a traditional folk art feel. The wood was collected from the banks of the Chesapeake bay. The driven nail holes and over all age of the wood gave this painting a nice primitive feel. More to come this week. Thanks everyone!
